Stalker 2: Acquire the Unique Cavalier Rifle Guide

In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the weapon variety is vast, catering to diverse playstyles. Among the arsenal, you can uncover unique, named weapons with special modifications or enhanced power, like the Cavalier sniper rifle. This exceptional weapon features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it lethal at short to medium ranges. Here's your guide on how to acquire this coveted rifle.

How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

To obtain the Cavalier Sniper Rifle, make your way to the Military Unit within the Duga base. The rifle awaits in a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously accessed the Duga base to retrieve the Journalist stash, navigating to the second entrance should be straightforward.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate toward the Military Unit building indicated on your map. Instead of entering the building, proceed around it to locate the greenhouse at the rear. Exercise caution as two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack upon sighting you. Approach the greenhouse stealthily to avoid these formidable mutants.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll transition into the warehouse. Be prepared for an onslaught of rat swarms as soon as you enter. To evade the rats, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. A well-placed grenade can effectively eliminate the swarm.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rat swarms, direct your attention to the ceiling above the greenhouse entry. You'll notice wooden boards marked with yellow paint. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to fall from above.

Secure the rifle and safely exit the Duga base. To enhance its performance, take the Cavalier to Screw, the technician at Rostok base. With its maximum damage and superior accuracy, this rifle can be further refined with upgrades and modifications. Ideal for players who prefer a scope-free experience, the Cavalier's red-dot sight makes it an excellent choice for close to medium-range engagements.
