STALKER 2's demanding PC system requirements revealed: Prepare for intense performance needs!
With launch just a week away (November 20th), the final PC system requirements for STALKER 2 have been unveiled, showcasing a significant hardware demand, even at minimum settings. High-end rigs will be essential for 4K gameplay and high frame rates.
The updated specifications highlight the game's intensity:
OS | Windows 10 x64, Windows 11 x64 | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
RAM | 16GB Dual Channel | 32GB Dual Channel | ||
Storage | SSD ~160GB |
While minimum requirements are manageable, high resolutions and frame rates at higher settings demand a powerful system. The "epic" settings rival the infamous performance demands of Crysis (2007). Storage needs have also increased from 150GB to 160GB; an SSD is strongly recommended for optimal loading times.
Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR upscaling technologies will be included to improve visual fidelity without sacrificing performance. However, the specific FSR version remains unconfirmed.
Software ray tracing is confirmed, but hardware ray tracing, while being experimented with, is unlikely to be available at launch.
