If there's one thing you can say about many mobile game releases, it's that some publishers and developers never give up. A prime example is Ubisoft, who have now globally launched their long-awaited game, Bump! Superbrawl, this week!
As reported by GamingOnPhone, Bump! Superbrawl quietly made its way to mobile platforms a few days ago, with minimal fanfare. We first covered this title back in 2023, highlighting its unique turn-based 1v1 PvP gameplay. Since its soft launch in Poland, there's been little promotion from Ubisoft until now.
You can now download and dive into Bump! Superbrawl on both the iOS App Store and Google Play. This game blends multiplayer PvP with elements of action and strategy, set in the picturesque city of Arcadia. As you progress, you'll unlock a variety of heroes to compete against other players' lineups in diverse modes such as Zone Capture, Heist, and VIP.
Given it's been nearly two years since our last coverage, it's understandable if Bump! Superbrawl slipped your mind. Ubisoft's strategy of announcing a game, soft launching it, and then going silent seems to be a recurring theme. Just look at the extended development timelines for Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence, which have experienced long periods of silence.
Despite Ubisoft's sometimes lackluster approach to mobile game releases, it's exciting to see Bump! Superbrawl finally available worldwide, and it promises to be an intriguing addition to the mobile gaming scene.
