News

Partner/Indie World Showcase Delivers a Bounty of Games

Nintendo's decision to combine two smaller showcases proved successful, resulting in a flurry of announcements. Highlights include surprise releases (detailed below), Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remasters, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, new Atelier and Rune Factory titles, and much more. Watch the video for a complete overview – it's well worth your time!

Notable New Releases

Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)

A third Castlevania compilation joins the fray, featuring the three Nintendo DS titles: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. Also included is the notoriously poor arcade game, Haunted Castle, alongside an excellent M2 remake. This collection offers exceptional emulation and features, representing incredible value.

Pizza Tower ($19.99)

This Wario Land-inspired platformer is a surprise release. Conquer five massive floors of the Pizza Tower to save your restaurant. Fans of Wario's handheld adventures will appreciate this, but even those without strong Wario ties should consider this fast-paced platformer. A review is pending.

Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)

Another surprise release! Goat Simulator 3 brings the chaotic goat antics to the Switch. While performance on the Switch is unconfirmed, be aware that it has challenged more powerful systems. Embrace the absurdity, or proceed with caution. Silly goats, silly antics, and potential Switch performance issues.

Peglin ($19.99)

A missed opportunity for EA not to bring PopCap games to Switch. For Peggle fans, Peglin is a must-have. A blend of Peggle and turn-based RPG roguelite mechanics, available now on Switch after a successful mobile run. A review is forthcoming.

Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)

Kairosoft's familiar shop simulation formula gets a Doraemon makeover. Featuring characters from the beloved manga and anime, this title offers a charming take on the well-established formula. Expect cameos from other works by the manga artist.

Pico Park 2 ($8.99)

More Pico Park for fans. Up to eight players can enjoy local or online multiplayer puzzle-solving. The more, the merrier! A solid sequel, though unlikely to attract new players.

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)

An affordable rhythm game featuring Kamitsubaki Studio music. Simple but enjoyable for its price point.

SokoPenguin ($4.99)

A Sokoban-style puzzle game starring a penguin. One hundred levels of crate-pushing fun.

Q2 Humanity ($6.80)

Over three hundred quirky physics-based puzzles. Utilize character abilities and drawing mechanics. Supports up to four players locally or online.
