Hazelight Studios is set to elevate the cooperative gaming experience with their latest project, promising a thrilling two-player adventure that surpasses their previous endeavors. The developers have teased fans with details about captivating locations, a profound storyline, and a plethora of tasks designed to enhance immersion. This new game, titled Split Fiction, is shaping up to be one of the year's most eagerly awaited co-op titles.

Beyond the main campaign, players will delve into side stories that unfold numerous surprises. These additional quests not only introduce new areas to explore but also offer unique activities, encouraging players to delve deeper into the world of Split Fiction.

Three years following the debut of It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios released a substantial update for their cooperative adventure in May. The developers shared the full list of modifications on Steam, highlighting a shift towards catering more to the core Steam player base. A significant change is that the game no longer requires the EA launcher to operate and is now fully compatible with Steam Deck.

Players can now easily invite their Steam friends to join the game. Moreover, Steam Family Sharing is now fully supported. While an EA account is still necessary for connecting to EA servers, it is no longer required for local play through Steam Remote Play, adding to the game's accessibility and convenience.
