What Are The New Roles in Among Us?
The update introduces the Tracker and Noisemaker for Crewmates, and the Phantom for Impostors. As a Tracker, you gain the ability to keep tabs on another crewmate's location on the map for a limited time. This can be a game-changer, helping you to expose impostors who lie about their whereabouts and protect your fellow crewmates.
The Noisemaker is another exciting addition for Crewmates. If an impostor eliminates a Noisemaker, a loud alert akin to a siren goes off, and a visual signal appears on the screen indicating the location of the incident. This feature provides the crew with a crucial chance to catch the impostor red-handed.
For Impostors, the Phantom role brings a new level of stealth. With the ability to turn invisible for a limited time after a kill, Phantoms can confuse and evade the crew, leaving them puzzled and searching for answers.
In addition to these new roles, Among Us has revamped its lobby interface. The updated design makes it easier to view the room code, map details, the number of crewmates, and other game settings. Furthermore, issues like getting stuck in ladder animations during Mushroom Mixup in The Fungle have been resolved.
