New Building, Jukebox, and More Arriving in Next Update
Schedule 1 remains one of Steam’s best-selling titles and looks set to maintain its position, thanks to frequent content drops. On May 1, Tyler, the solo developer behind TVGS, shared an early glimpse of the upcoming patch on Twitter (X).
In the post, Tyler revealed a series of images showcasing what players can look forward to in the next update, which is nearing the open beta stage. Among the highlights are a new structure labeled "Stash and Dash," a Jukebox that could allow players to change the in-game soundtrack, and an empty corridor setting.
Although no official release date has been confirmed for the next update, players will first get access through the game’s beta branch before the full rollout. To participate, users must navigate to the Steam settings for Schedule 1 and opt into the beta. Future Map Expansion in the Works
Last week, Tyler hosted his first development livestream on Twitch, offering fans a closer look at his creative process and upcoming updates for Schedule 1. During the stream, he demonstrated some of his latest 3D modeling work and shared his vision for an upcoming expansion to the game's map.
Tyler outlined plans to introduce a “swampy, slummy area” while also expanding the affluent part of town with additional cliffside homes. Following the completion of these zones, his next focus will be on developing the island located across from the main area.
While these additions promise to significantly enhance the game, they may take time to materialize given that Tyler is the sole developer. Nevertheless, the community remains excited about the future of Schedule 1 and the content slated for upcoming updates.
