"Warzone Glitch Enables Old Camos on Black Ops 6 Guns"

Summary

  • A new glitch in Warzone allows players to apply MW3 camos to BO6 weapons.
  • The glitch requires a friend's help and specific steps in a private match of Warzone.
  • This is an unofficial method and may be patched in future updates.

A Call of Duty: Warzone player has discovered an intriguing glitch that enables the use of camos from 2023's Modern Warfare 3 on Black Ops 6 weapons. This feature, which many players feel should be standard, allows those with hard-earned MW3 camos to continue showcasing them in Warzone, despite the dominance of Black Ops 6 weapons in the meta.

In Black Ops 6, players are diligently grinding for epic mastery camos, which are earned through challenging in-game tasks. Achieving these requires players to secure numerous headshots and progress through various camo tiers, culminating in the prestigious dark matter camo. However, for those who already unlocked these in MW3, their value in Warzone has diminished with the arrival of Black Ops 6. But thanks to a newly discovered glitch, there's now a way to bring those MW3 camos back into play.

Call of Duty: Warzone Player Discovers New Camo Glitch

For players who have invested time in earning MW3 weapon camos, there's now a way to equip them on BO6 weapons within Warzone. However, this is not an officially supported feature, and there's a high likelihood that developers Treyarch Studios and Raven Software will address this glitch in a future update. The method, shared by Twitter user BSPGamin and reported by Dexerto, involves a few tricky steps.

Executing the glitch requires teamwork. Start by launching a private match in Warzone, then equip a BO6 weapon in the first loadout slot and join a friend's lobby. Next, switch to an MW3 weapon in the same slot and repeatedly select the desired camo. While doing this, the host should switch back to a private match. The friend must then exit the private match, and the player should continue spamming the camo selection on the weapon as the friend rejoins another private match. Once these steps are completed, the MW3 camo should appear on the BO6 weapon.

For those who prefer sticking with BO6 camos but haven't yet unlocked all the mastery camos, there's good news. Treyarch has confirmed they are working on reintroducing a challenge tracking feature in a future update for Black Ops 6. This feature, previously seen in MW3, was missed in the latest title, but will soon return to help players keep track of their progress toward those coveted camos.
