Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snow-Filled Second Half
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat in the latter half of January 2025. While the first half of the month saw relatively few additions, the second half boasts a strong lineup of new titles, including several day-one releases.
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a cooperative and PvP skiing game, leads the charge, launching on January 21st as a day-one Game Pass Ultimate title. This follows a trend of day-one games being initially exclusive to the Ultimate tier.
The January 2025 Game Pass additions also include:
- Carrion: January 2nd
- Road 96: January 7th
- Diablo: January 14th (PC Game Pass)
- EA Sports UFC 3: January 14th (Ultimate Tier)
- Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders: January 21st (Ultimate Tier)
- Eternal Strands: January 28th (Ultimate Tier)
- Sniper Elite: Resistance: January 30th (Ultimate Tier)
- Citizen Sleeper 2: January 31st (Ultimate Tier)
Beyond Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, an action-adventure game with strong Zelda influences from BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw's studio, Yellow Brick Games, is another highly anticipated day-one release on January 28th. Sniper Elite: Resistance and Citizen Sleeper 2 also join the lineup as day-one titles later in the month.
Looking ahead to February 2025, the current outlook is less robust. Avowed is confirmed for February 18th (Ultimate Tier), but further details remain scarce.
