HoYoverse has just unveiled the exciting details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises to shake things up in New Eridu with an intriguing storyline and new characters to explore.
What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?
In this update, the Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, tasked with securing a mysterious artefact connected to the Sacrifice. However, their mission is complicated by the notorious phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, who are determined to thwart the Mayor's plans. Additional factions are also in play, all vying for the artefact and unwilling to let the Proxies walk away with it easily. Amidst this chaos, characters Hugo and Vivian add a layer of intrigue with their suspicious behavior, leaving players to ponder their true allegiances. Version 1.6 introduces Anby Demara, a new unit with a compelling backstory. Previously known as Soldier 0 and leader of the Silver Squad, Anby now emerges as an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, wielding dual swords to unleash devastating Electric damage. Another new addition, Trigger, joins as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent from the Obol Squad. Known for her sniper skills, Trigger enters Sniper Mode to dodge incoming attacks and deliver precise shots, enhancing her team's ability to execute Quick Assists.
Some Are Making a Comeback
Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon, along with S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan, who will have rerun banners. A new boss, Geppetto, also enters the fray in Hollow Zero, challenging players in new ways.
The update also introduces Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, pushing players to test their limits. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds dynamic special effects to each battle stage, enhancing the gameplay experience by increasing damage output based on accumulated coins.
Trigger's TV Schedule introduces thrilling third-person sniper gameplay, allowing players to engage in real sniper missions. Additionally, the event March On, Tiny Titan! lets you control a Bangboo drone for unique challenges, while Little Knight's Big Charge offers ten trials with a Bangboo, rewarding players with Pulchra as a playable agent upon completion.
