长期存在的游戏技工Pokemon服从在 Pokemon Scarlet＆Violet 中看到了一些调整。通常反映前几代人，而过度级别的口袋妖怪可能不服从，但Gen 9引入了关键区别。
Gen 9中的服从：接口点系统
与 Sword＆Shield 不同，在捕获时，口袋妖怪在 Scarlet＆Violet 中的服从是由其水平确定的。 在20级或以下捕获的口袋妖怪总是会服从。 在20级高于20级的口袋妖怪捕捉到您的第一个健身徽章。 至关重要的是，即使它的水平超出了该初始限制，也将在服从范围内捕获的宠物小精灵仍将保持服从。
例如，即使升至21级后，用零徽章捕获的20级Fletchinder也会服从。但是，用零徽章捕获的21级Fletchinder将不服从直到获得徽章。 不服从表现为拒绝自动战斗命令（以蓝色的语音泡沫表示），并且在战斗中可能不稳定行为（例如，自我造成的伤害）。
健身徽章和服从水平

转移/交易的口袋妖怪服从：OT是无关的
与前几代人不同，原始教练（OT）ID不再影响 Scarlet＆Violet 中的服从。 宠物小精灵在转会或交易时的水平决定了其服从。 17级的口袋妖怪交易并随后升级超过20级，仍然会服从；收到的21级口袋妖怪不会。 “ MET级别”是决定因素。
