This app features three two-player card games: Four Cards Golf, Six Cards Golf, and Scat, selectable via in-app settings.
Four Cards Golf Rules:
The objective is to achieve the lowest score possible over nine rounds. Each round begins with each player receiving four face-down cards. Remaining cards form the draw pile, with one card placed face-up in the discard pile.
Players initially get one glimpse at the two closest cards in their hand. These cards remain hidden from their opponent. Cards can only be viewed again when discarding or scoring.
On a turn, a player draws from either the draw pile or the discard pile. A drawn card replaces a card in their hand (without viewing the replaced card), which is then added face-up to the discard pile. Players can also choose to discard a drawn card without making a replacement. A player can "knock" to end their turn; subsequent players can draw and discard but not knock. The round concludes after the knock.
Scoring:
- Pairs (same value) in a row or column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 10 points
- Other cards: face value
- Four of a kind: -6 points
Six Cards Golf Rules:
This two-player game also aims for the lowest score over nine rounds. Each player starts with six face-down cards; the remainder forms the draw pile, with one card face-up in the discard pile.
Players initially reveal two cards. They reduce their score by pairing cards of equal rank in columns or swapping higher-value cards for lower-value ones from the draw or discard piles.
Turns involve drawing a single card from either pile. This card is either swapped for a face-down card (leaving the swapped card face-up) or discarded. Discarding ends the player’s turn. The round ends when all a player's cards are face-up.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 20 points
- Other cards: face value
The game supports both AI opponents and local multiplayer.
