Pokémon Go Unveils $100 Ticket for Enhanced Toilet Access

by Max May 25,2025

Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, enhancing both in-game and real-world experiences. This year's Go Fest will occur at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan.

Players attending the Jersey City event can now enhance their existing ticket with the $100 Premier Access add-on, as announced by developer Niantic. This upgrade provides a variety of benefits, akin to a Business Class experience. The Premier Access lounge will feature upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating areas designed to help players recharge before their next adventure. Unfortunately, specific details about the restroom upgrades remain undisclosed.

In addition to these amenities, Premier Access ticket holders will enjoy fast-track entry to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing them to bypass long lines and maximize their playtime by avoiding delays in purchasing merchandise.

The main draw of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the extensive list of in-game items it offers. These include:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.

Reactions to the Premier Access offer have been varied. Some players have expressed concern over the high cost, noting that Pokémon Go has never offered such an expensive ticket upgrade before, especially as the game introduces more ways to spend money. Others argue that the upgrade provides significant value through the in-game items included, appealing to players who are willing to invest further after already committing to travel and entry fees for Go Fest.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if similar offers will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, June 6 in Jersey City, and June 13 in Paris. This year's event will focus on the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
