GSC Game World has unveiled S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy – Enhanced Edition, a next-generation upgrade for the original trilogy, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on May 20.
This enhanced collection features remastered versions of Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call of Prypiat (2009). Each title receives comprehensive improvements including visual enhancements, performance optimization for modern consoles, and expanded mod capabilities.
According to GSC Game World, players who already own the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy on Xbox Series X|S or PS5 will receive the Enhanced Edition upgrade at no additional cost.
For PC players, the developer stated: "To thank our loyal fans," owners of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games will receive the Enhanced Editions free, while Enhanced Edition purchasers will also get the original versions. The trilogy bundle is priced at $39.99, with individual titles available for $19.99 each.
Cross-platform save functionality between PC and consoles is not available. Your save data remains exclusive to the platform you're playing on.
On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the Enhanced Edition offers multiple frame-rate options including standard 30 FPS and 60 FPS modes. Additional modes targeting 40 FPS and up to 120 FPS are available exclusively for displays supporting VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) technology.
The console versions feature several graphical and performance modes: Quality Balanced, Performance, and Ultra Performance.
