Machine Yearning: A Brain-Twisting Robot Job Only Humans Can Do
Get ready for a mind-bending challenge unlike any other! Tiny Little Keys' debut game, Machine Yearning, challenges you to perform tasks typically reserved for robots, proving your human skills in a world dominated by machines.
Developed by the American studio Tiny Little Keys – founded by Daniel Ellis, a former Google Machine Learning Engineer and lifelong gamer – Machine Yearning launches September 12th.
What is Machine Yearning?
In this unique game, you apply for a job robots usually handle, outsmarting a CAPTCHA system designed to detect human attempts at deception. The game aims to push your cognitive abilities, testing your memory and processing speed.
You'll start by associating words with shapes, gradually increasing in difficulty as more words and colors are introduced, requiring you to remember previous pairings.
The reward for mastering the game? Customizing your robots with an array of hats, from archer hats and cowboy hats to straw hats! See it in action:
Will You Play?
Initially showcased at Ludum Dare, a renowned indie game jam, Machine Yearning won top prizes for "most fun" and "most innovative." Learn more on their official website.
Available September 12th on Android, this free-to-play game might just sharpen your mind (though we can't promise that!). Don't forget to check out our other gaming news!
