OBD2 Diagnostics - Read and Clear Fault Codes and Access Real-Time Sensor Data
With Piston, your vehicle's diagnostic information is right at your fingertips.
Is your Check Engine Light (MIL) illuminated? Use Piston to transform your mobile device into a car scanner and retrieve the related Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and Freeze Frame data. This helps you identify and resolve the issue effectively.
You will need a Bluetooth or WiFi ELM327-compatible adapter, which connects to your vehicle's OBD2 port. Piston guides you through the connection process. Access the instructions from the Home page after the initial setup or anytime via Settings.
With Piston, you can:

This app requires a separate Bluetooth or WiFi ELM327-compatible device to function as a car scanner. Piston is compatible with OBD-II (also known as OBDII or OBD2) and EOBD standards.
All vehicles sold in the USA from 1996 onward must support the OBD2 standard.
In the European Union, EOBD became mandatory for petrol vehicles from 2001 and for diesel vehicles from 2004. In Australia and New Zealand, OBD2 is required for all petrol cars manufactured from 2006 and diesel cars from 2007.
Important: This app can only access the data your vehicle supports and provides via the OBD2 standard.
