Radical Fish Games Announces New Action RPG, Alabaster Dawn
Studio Will be at Gamescom this Year
Radical Fish Games, the creative minds behind the beloved action RPG CrossCode, have officially lifted the veil on their next venture: Alabaster Dawn. Originally teased as "Project Terra," this game was recently detailed in a post on the developer's website. Alabaster Dawn is set to hit Steam Early Access in late 2025, though an exact date remains under wraps. Eager fans can now add it to their Steam wishlist.
Moreover, Radical Fish Games has promised a public demo for Alabaster Dawn down the line, aligning with the game's Early Access launch planned for late 2025.
For those heading to Gamescom this year, mark your calendars—Radical Fish Games will be on the show floor, offering select attendees an exclusive hands-on experience with Alabaster Dawn. While spots for gameplay are limited, the studio assures fans that they'll be available at their booth for chats from Wednesday to Friday.
Alabaster Dawn's Combat Inspired by DMC and KH

Set in the ravaged world of Tiran Sol, Alabaster Dawn thrusts players into a post-apocalyptic landscape where the goddess Nyx has turned the world into a wasteland, erasing gods and people alike. You step into the shoes of Juno, the Outcast Chosen, tasked with awakening the remnants of humanity and breaking Nyx's curse.
The game promises an expansive 30-60 hours of gameplay, spread across seven diverse regions. Players will not only engage in rebuilding efforts and establishing trade routes but will also dive into adrenaline-pumping combat inspired by the likes of Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and, of course, CrossCode. With eight unique weapons, each featuring its own skill tree, players have plenty of options to customize their playstyle. Additional gameplay elements include parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and even cooking.
Radical Fish Games proudly announced a significant development milestone, with the first 1-2 hours of Alabaster Dawn now nearly fully playable. "It may not sound like much, but getting to that point is a big milestone for us," the developers expressed, highlighting their dedication to crafting a memorable gaming experience.
