Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0: A Global Launch with Exciting New Features!
Castle Duels: Tower Defense, after a successful soft launch in June 2024, has officially released its highly anticipated 3.0 update, making the game available worldwide. This update introduces significant gameplay changes and new challenges.
What's New in Update 3.0?
Clans and Clan Wars: One of the biggest additions is the clan system, allowing players to team up, trade units, share rewards, and purchase items from a dedicated clan store. Clan tournaments, available from Arena 5, pit teams of five against each other in daily quest competitions. Join or create a clan once you reach Arena 2.
Unit Overhauls: Several units have received significant changes:
- Raphael (now Angel): Reworked as a dedicated healer, restoring health instead of boosting damage.
- Knight of Light (now Risen): Name change only.
- Forestlord (now Woodbeard): Name change only.
- Riding Hood: Transformed into a long-range damage dealer.
- Golem: Ability range reduced to better suit its melee role.
- Fighter: Shifted to a defensive role with a new opponent-repelling ability.
Many units, including the Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire, have also received visual updates, particularly noticeable at higher merge levels.
