In Metaphor: ReFantazio, dungeons are teeming with formidable foes that often serve as mini-bosses, challenging players even as they grind for XP. These enemies appear as red markers in the overworld Fairy Sight, indicating a tough Squad combat ahead. One such challenging adversary is the Faithwight Magileto, encountered in the Spire Of Blind Faith. Facing this enemy requires a near-perfect strategy and a dash of luck, given their high difficulty level at this stage of the game.
Faithwight Magileto Weakness & Skills In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Weakness | Repel | Resists | Blocks |
---|---|---|---|
Strike | Light | Pierce | Electric |
The Faithwight Magileto is a level 50 enemy capable of summoning additional level 50 enemies, making it unwise to engage them if you're below level 45. They wield potent dark and light magic, capable of targeting single characters or the entire party. Their arsenal includes Megidolaon, a devastating spell that hits all party members with high damage. Additionally, they possess passive buffs that amplify the damage of dark, light, and other elemental attacks. Faithwight Magiletos can also use Soul Scream to gain four Press Turn icons in a turn, and they can summon level 50 skeletons that aid them in combat.
These summoned skeletons boast powerful slashing attacks and dark magic, along with buffs and one of the game's best healing spells, which they can use to fully restore the Faithwight Magileto's health. These minions are also vulnerable to Strike attacks, making this the key to winning the battle.
How To Beat Faithwight Magileto In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Even with a flawless strategy, defeating the Faithwight Magileto remains a formidable challenge at level 50, and virtually impossible at lower levels. To increase your chances of success, consider these preparatory steps:
- Acquire Dark Dodge from the Magic Knight.
- Obtain Light Dodge from the Healer Archetype.
- Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype.
- Utilize the Warlock Archetype, which resists both Dark and Light damage.
- Employ the Thief Archetype, which resists Dark damage.
- Carry Tetrabreak to counter any summoned enemy using Tetrakarn.
Your choice of Archetypes should focus on covering as many of these points as possible without being vulnerable to Dark, Light, or Slash damage. If you have access to multiple Archetypes and can leverage Skill Inheritance, prioritize those with high Strength. Ensure that at least two party members have a party-wide healing spell, and equip everyone with a Strike Attack to maximize Press Turn Icons and manage the health loss from these skills.
Be prepared for some luck to play a role, as consecutive Megidolaons can be nearly impossible to survive. Equipping most of your party with Dark and Light dodge skills will increase the frequency of helpful effects, potentially ending the enemy's turn more quickly. If the Faithwight Magileto summons allies, prioritize eliminating them swiftly before they can use their healing magic. Consider bringing the Dekaja skill to dispel any buffs from summoned enemies. Your primary strategy should involve executing at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide healing spells each turn.
