Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected launch timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a release before April 2026.
Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. EA, however, remains tight-lipped on specifics.
Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program, previously announced, will allow select players to experience core gameplay elements. Feedback from this testing phase will inform final adjustments before the game's official debut.
This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment isn't imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
