Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th (PS5 & Xbox Series X/S Only)
The first network test for Elden Ring Nightreign begins accepting registrations this Friday, January 10th. However, this initial beta will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in The Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. Targeted for a 2025 release, the game will undergo at least one network test prior to launch.
Registration Details:
The limited-time beta registration opens January 10th on the official Elden Ring Nightreign website. While the number of available spots hasn't been disclosed, interested players are encouraged to register early.
How to Register:
- Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
- Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
- Await confirmation email (expected no later than February 2025).
- Participate in the test during February 2025 (exact dates to be announced).
Platform Limitations:
This initial network test notably excludes PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players. With no cross-platform multiplayer planned for the full game, this beta will restrict players to their respective console ecosystems. Progress made during the test is not expected to carry over to the final release. Further betas may be announced in the future.
Gameplay Restrictions:
Elden Ring Nightreign will support solo play and three-player parties only; two-player parties are not supported. Whether the network test will include additional gameplay limitations remains to be seen.
