Hogwarts Legacy Mods Coming Sooner Than Expected

WB Games has a thrilling announcement for fans of the Harry Potter universe: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will support mods, exclusively on PC. This feature will be a key highlight of an upcoming patch, available for download on both Steam and the Epic Games Store (EGS).

The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a powerful toolkit that empowers enthusiasts to create new content, including dungeons and quests, as well as customize characters. The renowned platform CurseForge will manage and distribute these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will feature a mod manager, simplifying the process for players to discover and install intriguing mods seamlessly.

On launch day, players can explore several pre-approved mods, including the exciting Dungeon of Doom. This new dungeon will challenge players to battle numerous enemies and uncover hidden secrets. However, there's a small catch: to access these mods, you'll need to link your gaming account with a WB Games account.

Alongside mod support, the patch will enhance character customization with new hairstyles and additional outfits. The developers have highlighted examples of these mods in the latest trailer.

In other news, the second part of the Hogwarts Legacy adventure is already in development. Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that it's one of the corporation's top priorities for the coming years.
