Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6: Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age Arrives October 23rd
HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.6 update, titled "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University.
What Awaits Travelers?
Paperfold University is celebrating its anniversary with a bustling campus atmosphere. Expect student club recruitment drives, lively music performances, and a plethora of academic events.
The highlight of version 2.6 is the introduction of Rappa, a new 5-star Galaxy Ranger character who also identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay revolves around ninjutsu, incorporating ninja mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and even rap elements.
Rappa's quest involves hunting down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru. Her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, offers a unique first-person perspective, allowing players to slice through enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 Events
The "Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription" event tasks players with managing a band for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party, collaborating with Rappa to deliver an unforgettable performance.
Returning limited 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine will be featured in the warp event during both halves of the update. See the trailer for a sneak peek!
The Simulated Universe also receives a substantial update in version 2.6. Following the success of Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, a larger-scale challenge awaits. The third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," introduces a massive void linked to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts among scholars vying for control of the Scepter system – a powerful external thinking unit composed of inorganic bionic neurons. Players will gather Scepters, upgrade them using Components, and leverage powerful synergies to defeat a formidable final boss.
