Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for its thrilling Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, scheduled to launch on March 6th, 2025. Niantic has shared all the exciting details about what players can expect from this upcoming season, including new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and a roster of new monsters to hunt.
Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5
Before the official start of Season 5, players are in for a special treat with the early arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This marks its debut ahead of its first appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. As the season kicks off, players will also encounter Glavenus and Arzuros joining the fray.
Weapon balance is a key focus this season, with adjustments aimed at enhancing the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield is set to receive a significant buff, making it easier to target breakable parts like tails. Additionally, the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, resulting in more satisfying combos.
The Guard skill is also getting an upgrade. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will substantially reduce the damage taken when blocking. More detailed tweaks will be unveiled in the full patch notes on March 6th.
And There Is More!
For those struggling with inventory management, Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 slots to store your gear and resources.
Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new feature will allow players to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for a variety of rewards. Look forward to acquiring Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
Get ready for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and preparing your arsenal for the challenges ahead.
