The newly unveiled Nintendo Switch 2 supports up to 120fps and can handle 4K resolution when docked, surpassing expectations and setting a new standard for handheld gaming.

PlayDuring today's Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, Nintendo provided an in-depth look at the new system. The Nintendo Switch 2 features a larger 7.9-inch screen compared to its predecessor, yet maintains the same thickness of 13.9mm. The Joy-Con 2 controllers are an upgrade as well, utilizing magnetic connections and a release button for detachment. The SL and SR buttons on the sides are larger for improved horizontal gameplay, and the left and right sticks have also been enlarged. A highlight of this segment was the official reveal of mouse control support within the Joy-Con controllers.

It also features a more robust and adjustable stand compared to the original Nintendo Switch, allowing for better positioning at various heights. Additionally, a top USB port enables external camera connectivity and charging in tabletop mode.

The Nintendo Switch 2 comes equipped with 256GB of internal storage, offering ample space for gamers to store their favorite titles and content.
