If you've ever been curious about what a future Pope does in their spare time, wonder no more. According to a close family member, the newly elected Pope Leo XIV enjoys leisure activities just like many of us, including playing games and watching movies.

As we previously reported, Edward Berger's gripping papal thriller, Conclave, captivated audiences last year. Its remarkably accurate depiction of the papal election process has even influenced real-life religious leaders, including those involved in this week's actual conclave to select a new Pope. This includes Robert Francis Prevost, who has now been elected as Pope Leo XIV.

In an interview with NBC, Pope Leo XIV's older brother, John Prevost, shared insights from their last conversation before the election. They discussed their daily routines of playing word games like Wordle and Words with Friends, revealing Pope Leo XIV's interest in gaming. John also inquired if his brother had watched the movie Conclave for any tips.

"He had just finished watching the movie Conclave," John Prevost disclosed. "So he knew how to behave. We talk about things like that — I just wanted to take his mind off the upcoming conclave and have a laugh about something."

PlayDirected by Edward Berger, the BAFTA and Oscar-winning film *Conclave* delves into one of the world's most secretive and ancient events — the selection of a new Pope. The story follows Cardinal Lawrence (played by Ralph Fiennes), who oversees this clandestine process following the unexpected death of the beloved Pope. As the Catholic Church's most influential leaders convene from around the globe and are sequestered in the Vatican, Cardinal Lawrence uncovers a conspiracy and a secret that threatens to undermine the very foundations of The Church.
