Revue Starlight Re LIVE Ends: No More Stage Girl Collection

It's now official: Revue Starlight Re LIVE has announced its end-of-service (EOS). The servers will shut down on September 30th, 2024, at 07:00 UTC. This beloved game, which brings the world of the Revue Starlight anime to life on Android, will cease to exist in just a few months after nearly six years of operation.

Why Has Revue Starlight Re LIVE Announced Its EOS?

Revue Starlight Re LIVE was a direct continuation of the Revue Starlight anime, picking up right where the show left off. It featured a deep battle system where players could strategize using the Stage Girls' unique skills or opt for auto mode to handle the fights.

The announcement of the EOS isn't entirely surprising. Over the past five and a half years, the game struggled to maintain its performance. Players noticed signs of decline, such as repetitive events, rehashed assets, and an overload of costly battle passes. Moreover, odd plot twists, like the shift from The Giraffe to a random girl and her toy bear, didn't help the game's narrative coherence. The servers are also shutting down in Japan, marking a global end for Revue Starlight Re LIVE.

Despite these challenges, the game had its strengths. The soundtrack, featuring numerous songs from the anime, was a standout feature. Additionally, the game's beautiful 3D graphics and Live2D animations were highly appreciated by players.

Do You Want To Give It A Try?

Although the shutdown is imminent, there are still a few weeks left to enjoy Revue Starlight Re LIVE. The developers are ensuring that players can make the most of their remaining time with the game. They are launching several new campaigns in August and September. The 'Thank You For Everything' Campaign offers 10 free pulls every day, and a two-month-long birthday celebration event includes two 'New Stage Girl Gacha' events at the beginning of each month. If you're interested in bidding the game a fond farewell, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
