Square Enix Ends Service for Romancing SaGa Re:universe

Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global server is closing on December 2nd, 2024. While the Japanese version continues, the global journey ends after four years.

Two Months Remain

In-app purchases and Google Play Point exchanges have already ceased. The global launch in June 2020 marked the beginning of a chapter now concluding. Despite impressive visuals and a generous gacha system, the global version received mixed player reception.

Unlike its popular Japanese counterpart, the global version lacked significant content updates like Solistia and 6-star units, a gap of almost a year that disappointed many players.

Community Reflections

Square Enix has closed several games this year, including Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and two Dragon Quest mobile titles. Romancing SaGa Re:universe joins that list.

This turn-based RPG, inspired by the classic SaGa series, offers players two final months of gameplay. Download it from the Google Play Store to experience the game before its closure.
