Nightdive Studios has officially announced that the much-anticipated System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will launch on June 26, 2025. This modernized version of the iconic 1999 sci-fi horror action role-playing game brings the classic experience to both PC and consoles for the very first time. Players can look forward to experiencing the remaster on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and the Humble Bundle Store, as well as on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch.
Utilizing Nightdive Studios' proprietary KEX Engine, the remaster has been meticulously rebuilt for today's platforms. Fans can expect enhanced visuals, improved gameplay mechanics, better performance, cross-play co-op multiplayer, and robust mod support, ensuring a comprehensive modern gaming experience.
