"The wonderful thing is that thanks to your incredible support, Arrowhead's future is bright, and we have the freedom to explore exciting ideas," Jorjani stated. He clarified that while a small team will start work on Game 6 later this year, Helldivers 2 remains the primary priority for the foreseeable future.
When asked about the longevity of content updates for Helldivers 2, Jorjani responded, "As long as you keep playing and purchasing Super Credits, we can keep the game going." This virtual currency, used to buy Premium Warbonds, has been crucial in sustaining the game post-launch. Last summer, Arrowhead faced challenges, but strong player support helped stabilize the situation.
Jorjani also hinted at Arrowhead's independence for its next game, stating it's "100% funded by ourselves," suggesting no involvement with publishers like Sony.
