Clash Royale is gearing up for a grand celebration as it marks its 9th anniversary at the Arena! The 9th birthday season promises an array of new challenges, a fresh Evolution, and free chests for all players to enjoy.
Grab Your Decks Because the Hunter Just Got an Upgrade!
The Hunter card is stepping into the spotlight with a powerful upgrade that's set to change the dynamics of the battlefield. The Hunter's Evolution now includes a Net that ensnares the nearest enemy troop, immobilizing them and preventing any attacks. If the trapped troop is a flying unit, it will be pulled down to the ground, making it vulnerable to ground-based assaults. This makes the Hunter Evolution a strategic choice for countering enemy pushes or bolstering win-condition troops like the Royal Giant.
However, every card has its weaknesses. The Ice Spirit or Ice Golem can thwart the Hunter before he deploys his net. So, steer clear of these counters and let luck favor your strategy!
The Clash Royale 9th Birthday Season is Filled with Events and Challenges
The season is packed with exciting events. Kicking off the celebrations, the Hunter Evolution Draft will run from March 3rd to 10th, allowing you to craft decks featuring Card Evolutions. Following that, the Evolutions Mayhem event, from March 10th to 17th, will let you include up to four Evolution Cards in your deck.
Next up, the Champion Triple Draft will take place from March 17th to 24th, offering a thrilling draft-based battle format. From March 24th to 31st, the Mirror, Mirror challenge levels the playing field by providing both players with identical decks.
Wrapping up the month, the Evolutions Mayhem event returns from March 31st to April 7th, this time allowing up to eight Evolution Cards for even greater impact. Each of these challenges comes with its own set of rewards, including Banner Frames, Banner Decorations, and Season Tokens.
In honor of Clash Royale's birthday, the Supercell Store is offering free gifts. Players in Arenas 2 through 10 can claim a free King's Chest, while those in Arena 11 and above will receive a Legendary King's Chest.
