First announced in 2018, the Devil May Cry anime is confirmed to have an eight-episode debut season. While plot specifics remain shrouded in mystery, it seems the series will center on Dante, likely drawing inspiration from the events of the first three Devil May Cry games rather than Devil May Cry 5. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, known for voicing Nero in the video game franchise.
The latest installment in the Devil May Cry game series, Devil May Cry 5 (2019), marked a triumphant return to form after a period of relative inactivity following the 2013 release of DmC: Devil May Cry. A critically acclaimed action title, Devil May Cry 5 is highly recommended, especially for fans of titles like Ninja Gaiden Black 2.
