Fortnite Unveils Reload Mode: Classic Armaments and Maps Ressurface!

Fortnite's new "Reload" mode: A nostalgic blast from the past with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map packed with iconic locations from Fortnite's history, bringing back the classic feel with updated gameplay.

What's in Reload Mode?

Reload mode offers intense squad-based action where the game only ends when your entire squad is eliminated. No solo revives here! This high-stakes gameplay applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

The map features classic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row, but forget about vehicles. Instead, expect a potent mix of unvaulted weapons including fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Victory Crowns remain a factor. Reboots are possible, but you'll respawn with only a common Assault Rifle (and building materials in Build mode). The Reboot Timer adds another layer of strategy, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40 seconds as the match progresses. Eliminating opponents reduces this timer. Players can also choose to instantly initiate their reboot.

Elimination and Rewards

Elimination isn't just about death; it's about resource management. When eliminated, you drop Small Shield Potions, various ammo types, and 50 units of each building material (in Build mode), keeping the battle dynamic and resource-driven.

On top of the intense gameplay, complete Reload mode intro quests for substantial XP rewards! Three quests unlock the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six unlock the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine unlock the NaNa Bath Back Bling. Secure a Victory Royale and earn The Rezzbrella Glider.
