Hoyoverse has announced a special program, "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," airing this Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4) on Twitch and YouTube. The program promises exciting Natlan reveals, including character banners and in-game rewards.
The Bennett Surprise: Free 4-Star Character
The free character giveaway has sparked discussion. Instead of the anticipated Kachina, players will receive Bennett, a popular 4-star adventurer. While rumors suggest Bennett's Natlan origins, this departure from the usual tradition of providing a free character from the new region has surprised many. Acquiring Bennett will require completing a world quest.
Generous Free Primogems and Wishes
The excitement extends to the generous free Primogem distribution. Initially reported as 113, then revised to 110, the final count appears to be 115 wishes. Diligent players completing all Version 5.0 content can expect this amount; however, a more conservative estimate for less dedicated players is around 90 wishes.
Version 5.0's launch on August 28th coincides with Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary, resulting in additional celebratory rewards. A 7-day login event will provide ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss runs, and events, players could accumulate approximately 18,435 Primogems, equivalent to 115 wishes.
