Google Play Revamps Push Notification Feature, Unveiling Auto-App Launch Functionality

Google Play Store may soon eliminate the need to manually launch newly downloaded apps. A recent report suggests an upcoming "App Auto Open" feature will automatically launch apps upon completion of their download.

The Details:

Android Authority reports that a teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19 reveals this potential feature. While not officially confirmed by Google, the feature would offer users the option to enable or disable automatic app launches.

The process is straightforward: a notification banner will appear for approximately five seconds after a download completes. Your phone may also vibrate or chime, ensuring you won't miss the notification.

Important Note: This information is based on an APK teardown and is therefore unofficial. There's no confirmed release date, but we'll update you as soon as Google provides official details.
