Grand Theft Auto V's PC version is finally getting a major update on March 4th, bringing it closer to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions released in 2022. This free update includes content previously exclusive to console players and introduces GTA+ subscription to PC. Existing players will have their GTA Online and Story Mode progress seamlessly transferred.
The update significantly enhances GTA Online, adding a wealth of previously unavailable content for PC users. Rockstar Games has also bolstered anti-cheat measures. Expect improved visuals, but be aware that this comes with increased system requirements. Players with insufficient hardware can continue using the older, still-supported version. However, cross-version play will remain unavailable.
