The official announcement of a GUNDAM TCG has sent ripples of excitement through the Gundam fanbase! A promotional video was posted on the official GUNDAM TCG X (formerly Twitter) account on September 27th, launching the "#GUNDAM" global TCG project. This coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary celebrations. However, the format remains unclear – will it be a physical-only card game, or will online play be incorporated?

The event will feature popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a known GUNPLA enthusiast, participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, demonstrating his passion for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.
