Acquiring New Weapons
New weapons are primarily found within Overgrowths. Explore freely, but for targeted weapon acquisition, locate sword (Blades) or pistol (Rails) icons on the map.
Blades are melee weapons with unique movesets and abilities, while Rails are ranged weapons each possessing distinct functionalities. Both weapon types feature varying rarities, with gold being the most powerful. Rarity directly correlates with weapon stats, as is common in loot-driven games.
To save weapons for later use, press the Cache button instead of Equip upon discovery. These cached weapons can then be equipped before commencing subsequent runs by adjusting your loadout.
Obtaining New Starting Weapons
Beyond discovered weapons, new starting equipment is available for purchase from merchants at the Cursed Outpost. Initially, only the Blades merchant is accessible. Unlocking the Rails merchant requires sufficient materials to repair their shop.

Weapon Upgrades

Death results in a durability loss (one pip) for equipped weapons, indicated by the bar beneath their icons. Repeated deaths will eventually break weapons.
