The King of Fighters ALLSTAR is officially ending service

by Sophia Jan 19,2025

The popular mobile beat 'em up ARPG, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is shutting down on October 30th, 2024. Netmarble's announcement, posted on their official forums, confirms the closure, with in-app purchases already disabled.

This news comes as a surprise, given the game's six-year run and numerous high-profile collaborations with other fighting game franchises. The developer cited a lack of new fighters to adapt from the King of Fighters roster as a contributing factor to the closure, though this is likely not the sole reason.
