Pokémon Presents Event Coming Next Week

by George Feb 27,2025

Get ready, Pokémon trainers! A Pokémon Presents event is scheduled for next week, coinciding with Pokémon Day.

The Pokémon Company announced on X/Twitter that the event will air on February 27th, 2025, at 6am Pacific Time (9am Eastern Time / 2pm UK time) on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.

While the exact content remains a mystery, fans eagerly anticipate news about the next core series Pokémon game, which is currently unannounced. While the spin-off Pokémon Legends: Z-A is slated for a 2025 release, details on the next main generation remain elusive.

The presentation will likely feature updates on other ongoing Pokémon titles, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Announcements regarding the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and the physical trading card game are also highly anticipated.

Last year's Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, announced Tera Raid Battles for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and revealed the mobile adaptation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, among other exciting news. Interestingly, 2024 marked a departure from previous years, featuring only one Pokémon Presents event and the first absence of a major Pokémon game release since 2015.
