RuneScape Unveils Exciting 2024-2025 Roadmap! Jagex has just revealed a thrilling glimpse into the future of RuneScape, outlining a packed schedule of updates for both 2024 and 2025 in their latest "RuneScape Ahead" video. Let's explore the highlights!
What's Coming?
Get ready for Group Ironman mode, launching later this year! Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative challenge, completely free from outside assistance.
This autumn, brave The Gate of Elidinis, a brand-new Skilling Boss encounter within the Sanctum of Rebirth. This challenging boss fight is part of an upcoming major story quest.
Multiple story quests are planned, starting with a winter release revisiting classic storylines and unfinished business in the Desert with Amascut. This culminates in a thrilling end-game boss fight against Amascut, the Devourer.
Over 110 skilling updates are on the way! This year brings Woodcutting & Fletching updates, including a new skill tree and weapons. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates are slated for 2025.
Seasonal festivities are also planned! Harvest Hollow, a new seasonal event with a spooky quest and chilling rewards, arrives later this year. The beloved Christmas Village returns as the year concludes, bringing new quests, festive activities, and holiday rewards.
Beyond 2024:
A major new area expansion is planned for late 2025, along with highly anticipated player-requested features, including new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a brand-new Slayer monster.
