Stella Sora Launches Extended Closed Beta with More Unlockables

by Zoe Jun 22,2025

Stella Sora, the much-anticipated cross-platform RPG from Yostar Games, is back with a new Closed Beta Test (CBT) running from now until June 8th. This latest beta offers players another chance to dive into the expansive world of Nova and experience firsthand what this upcoming title has to offer—all without payment options enabled during the test period.

If you weren't able to participate in last month’s CBT, now is your opportunity to explore the continent of Nova freely and get an early feel for the game's mechanics and story-driven content. Please note that all progress made during this beta will be wiped once the test concludes, but for those interested in previewing the gameplay on PC or Android, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Customization and Combat

During the test, players can create their own Displayed Appearance avatar, allowing for personalized representation in the game world. You’ll also encounter 20 unique Traveler Maidens, each with their own distinct combat styles and stories. These narratives are presented with full Chinese and Japanese voiceovers, offering a rich cultural and emotional depth that adds to the immersive experience.

Chapters 1 & 2 and Monolith Exploration Mode

The beta includes campaign Chapters 1 and 2, giving players a solid introduction to the overarching storyline. Additionally, the new Monolith Exploration mode debuts in this test, offering squad-based combat challenges with randomized boons between encounters. It’s likely a roguelike-inspired endless mode, a common and addictive feature in many mobile RPGs, designed to keep players engaged with ever-changing combat scenarios.
