Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story, Characters, and Events!
XD Inc. has unveiled the Night Crimson update for their popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria, bringing a wealth of new content just months after its initial release. Millions have already enjoyed the game on PC and mobile, and this expansion promises even more engaging gameplay.
This update continues the Spiral of Destinies campaign, focusing on Waverun City with the addition of a thrilling new investigative clue wall mechanic. Players will blend detective work with tactical combat, making strategic choices to solve mysteries under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad's leader.
Introducing SP Characters: Night Crimson introduces SP (Special) characters – alternate versions of existing characters boasting unique appearances and combat abilities. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by SP Taair on January 17th. Unlocking these SP forms for characters you already own grants an exclusive SP skill, boosting the combat power of both the original and SP versions.
Beyond the new characters and storyline, the Night Crimson events (running since December 20th) offer generous rewards. Complete these events to earn Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, starting January 3rd, allows players to exchange event points for special items, providing a strategic advantage in battles.
Looking ahead, the update also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the game's development, including developer messages hinting at future content and a special video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actor. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also included, featuring a Japanese version by Hikasa Yoko.
