For fans of classic shoot 'em ups, a new app is a must-have. Tatsujin, a game publishing studio founded by Toaplan legend Masahiro Yuge, has released Amusement Arcade Toaplan on Android. Toaplan, a name synonymous with arcade shooter excellence, needs no introduction. Many gamers have played titles inspired by their iconic work.

Founded in 1979, Toaplan created countless arcade hits, many of them scrolling shooters. Amusement Arcade Toaplan celebrates their 40th anniversary by bringing 25 of their classic arcade games to Android, presented in their original, authentic form.

The collection's centerpiece is the legendary Truxton (1988), available completely free. Five additional games—Tiger Heli, Wardner, Flying Shark, Snow Bros., and Teki-Paki—offer free demo versions, with full versions available for purchase.

Other purchasable titles include Truxton II, Snow Bros. 2, Guardian, Slap Fight/Alcon, Twin Cobra, Rally Bike, Hellfire, Twin Hawk, Demon’s World, Zero Wing, Fire Shark, Out Zone, Vimana, Ghox, Fixeight, Dogyuun, Grind Stormer, Knuckle Bash, and Batsugun. These can be purchased individually.
