Welcome to Proton Bus Urbano!
This is the classic edition centered on urban buses for transporting passengers within city environments. The original game launched in 2017—it's been nearly five years! Our simulator has been enriched with numerous features over that time.
The bus modding system is now more sophisticated, supporting animations for buttons, rain effects, wipers, windows, and more. The community has already created hundreds of buses, with many more on the way.
We plan to release many new buses as mods shortly, with several currently in development. Including every bus directly in the game would make it excessively large, and no one uses all vehicles at once. By offering them as mods, you only download the ones you prefer, saving storage. Older buses without animations were excluded from this edition and will be re-released as mods in the coming months.
In 2020, we launched a map modding system—a rarity for mobile games. Creating maps requires a computer, but once built, they run on most mobile devices with sufficient RAM.
While original routes remain available, the strong emphasis on custom map creation means they will soon become a thing of the past.
This simulator is FREE, with additional perks for PAID USERS. You can play the free version indefinitely; our goal isn't simply to make money. Consider payment only if you genuinely appreciate the project and understand its development. Paid users enjoy an ad-free experience and exclusive features like virtual mirrors, cruise control, 360-degree screenshot capture, and more. Almost all other features and buses are completely free.
This is more of a simulator than a traditional game, so we don't focus on points, checkpoints, or similar elements. Simply choose your favorite bus and drive. As a detailed simulator, it includes many controls and settings. We recommend watching online tutorials before raising issues—many common complaints have simple solutions. For instance, press 'N' before shifting gears to move the bus, and remember to disengage the parking brake. Some options may cause unexpected effects; please read settings descriptions carefully before enabling them. Performance can vary across devices.
Proton Bus Urbano is available for PC and Android. PCs generally deliver superior graphics thanks to their hardware capabilities. Numerous settings can be adjusted to optimize performance. A modern mid- or high-end device with ample RAM (preferably 4GB or more) is recommended. For performance issues, try older versions or tweak the settings. There's a known issue with 64-bit Unity apps on Android; if you experience low framerates, downloading the 32-bit APK from our website may help.
We're concentrating on core updates, especially modding support. The simulator shines with mods—imagine it without them!
Find mods by searching online or using the in-game button. Installation requires a file manager, but the community is ready to help.
Advanced features are tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, basic features on a J7 Prime. It may not run well on phones with under 2GB of RAM, though you can try installing via APK/OBB with no guarantee. Screenshots were taken on a Galaxy J7 Prime using the "good settings" option.

* New mod installer! Installing mods is now much easier: after downloading a mod file, simply share or open it with the game. This works for most buses and maps (Phase 3 maps are supported in this version).
* Shadow improvements (not perfect, but better).
* Added button to disconnect and delete the premium account (as required by the platform).
