Arknights: Endfield Announces January Beta Test with Expanded Gameplay and New Features
Arknights: Endfield is gearing up for a new beta test this January, promising significant updates and improvements based on previous feedback. This next phase expands on the gameplay experience and introduces a wealth of new content.
Expanded Roster and Enhanced Mechanics
As reported by Niche Gamer on December 25th, 2024, the mid-January beta test will feature an expanded roster of 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators, all boasting "new models, animations, and special effects." Players can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.
Registration opened December 14th, 2024. Gameplay improvements based on player feedback include new combo skills, a dodge mechanic, and refined item usage and character progression systems, promising a richer and more engaging experience.
Base Building and Story Enhancements
The base building system receives a major overhaul with new mechanics and tutorial levels. Expect new defensive structures and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts in various locations. The beta also includes a reworked storyline, new maps, and challenging puzzles.
While registration is currently open, the application deadline and beta test start date remain unannounced. Selected participants will receive an email notification from GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.
Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1
Concurrent with the beta test announcement (December 14th, 2024), Arknights: Endfield launched its Content Creator Program Vol. 1. Selected creators will join the official community, receive exclusive perks, and participate in special events.
The program accepts applications in two categories: Gameplay Insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and Fan Creations (memes, fanart, cosplay, etc.). Both categories share the same eligibility requirements, including original content, account ownership verification, and submission of links to past work.
GRYPHLINE emphasizes that meeting the requirements doesn't guarantee selection. The application period runs from December 15th to December 29th, 2024.
