In a recent Koji Pro radio broadcast on April 14, Hideo Kojima, the director of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2), unveiled an exciting new feature designed to enhance the gaming experience for all players. DS2 will enable players to clear boss encounters without engaging in combat, making the game more accessible to those who might find these battles challenging.
Kojima detailed that upon failing a boss fight, players can opt to press "continue" on the game over screen. This choice will bypass the combat, presenting the battle's outcome through a series of images and text, much like a visual novel. This approach ensures that players can still grasp the narrative significance of these encounters without the need for combat skills.
Death Stranding 2 Nears Completion at 95%
Hideo Kojima also shared that Death Stranding 2 is currently 95% complete. He likened the game's development stage to being at "10 o’clock (PM)" out of a 24-hour day, indicating that only a couple of hours remain until the project's completion.
