The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is almost here! From February 5th to 8th, trainers will have increased odds of catching extra-small (XXS) and extra-large (XXL) Pokémon. This event is a great opportunity to bolster your team ahead of the upcoming Pokémon Go Tour: Unova.
This event doubles the XP earned from catching Pokémon. Shiny Nymble makes its debut, adding a sought-after addition to your collection. Keep an eye out for regional variants of Flabébé (Red Flower in EMEA, Blue Flower in Asia-Pacific, Yellow Flower in the Americas, with a chance for White or Orange Flower variants anywhere).
Wild encounters will feature increased appearances of Paras, Natu, Joltik, and various Burmy forms. Five-Star Raids will feature Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), while Mega Raids will highlight Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar. Both raid and wild encounters offer a chance at Shiny Pokémon.
2km Eggs will hatch Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. Don't miss the Timed Research and Collection Challenge for Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon. Event-themed Pokémon will also appear in PokéStop Showcases.
