The game unfolds on a Jupiter space station, a bizarre bazaar shrouded in acid rain and mystery. Orangutans with surprising wit work the docks alongside cultists bartering flesh for enlightenment. The universe itself is for sale, thanks to Lila, a woman with the unusual ability to create universes from her hand.
The game begins in a mining colony's shantytown, where you play as the Master, a skeletal cultist from the Cult of Detachment. Exploring the ramshackle colony, you eventually discover Honin's Tea House, Lila's shop, and her enigmatic story unfolds as you switch perspectives between her and the Master.
As Lila, you create universes in a captivating mini-game, mixing ingredients to generate mesmerizing visuals. The Master's journey delves into the philosophies of the Cult of Detachment and encounters with the Church of Many Gods.
The narrative builds, prompting speculation about the overarching mystery. Each character, human, skeletal, or robotic, possesses a unique story, enriching the richly detailed world.
