Kingdom Come 2 Scrapped Amidst Legal Probe

Activist groups have targeted Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of subpoenas within the game, sparking a campaign to cancel the project. The controversy gained traction after news of the game's ban in Saudi Arabia surfaced online, fueling speculation about its content and alleged "progressive" themes.

This led to a wave of online attacks against the developers, with calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and discourage support for the studio.

Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, responded to the allegations, urging the public to rely on official statements and avoid unverified online information.

Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that review codes would be distributed "in the coming days," following the game's completion in early December. These codes are expected to be released approximately four weeks prior to launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to prepare their content.

Interestingly, the first "final previews," based on review copies, are anticipated just a week after the initial code distribution.
